Mallard & Wood Duck Oyster trinket/dish

Oyster shells are beautifully, intricately and uniquely created by nature, the way God intended.  So what better way to take a piece of nature and bring into your home?  Each oyster shell I transform comes from right here off the South Carolina and North Carolina Coasts.  The oysters were either eaten by  family and friends who then passed the shells on to me, or the shells were actually picked up off the beach by my friends and I.  Each shell has been thoroughly washed, bleached, and sun-dried to bring out the whiteness of each shell, then if needed, hand painted white on the inside.  NO two shells are exactly the same, which is why they are so unique and would make great gifts...such as a housewarming, wedding, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Christmas, birthday, and many more.  

This Oyster Shell is decoupaged with a Mallard Duck and a Wood Duck surrounded by a beautiful cattail scene.  I handpainted the trim of the shell with a metallic gold paint.  Gold Leaf can be used as trim, but that would be a custom order for $3.00 extra.  

Can be used to hold jewelry, coins, or just an added piece for outdoor decor inside your home.
